How much would a jewelry store pay me for a Tiffany's necklace?

I have a sterling silver Tiffany's cross valued at $165 I believe. I was wondering approximately how much a jewelry store would buy this from me for.

  1. probably $100 or a litttle more (: NOTT fulll price iknoe that forshure
  2. Unfortunately it will probably be by weight of the sterling not the brand. You always get ripped off when you are trying to sell or pawn jewelry. They will usually pay close to what the market is for silver. Good luck.
  3. I may be wrong, but silver is not a worth much in trade in value. If you get $25 you will be lucky. take it to a small privately owned jewelery repair shop. ask the old guy he will know. don't take it to the mall to be appraised, waste of time, or perhaps search for the same item on Tiffany site or E bay.
  4. well there are a couple factors that may contribute to it's value..first, is it in good condition? how old is it? if it's in good condition then you're probably going to get more money. but it will also matter how much in demand silver is. if it's not very old then u should get a fair price. but all in all. u should just keep the bracelet. the value of the dollar is going down and the price of finer metals is going up and you are going to get ripped off. you will be lucky to get anything from $50-$100
  5. It's different for every jeweler. The people are usually very nice as i know them, so the best thing to do is clean it specifically for the type of jewelry by checking your local library. I recommend beyond the glitter by gerald l wykoff, if it has gems on it. The only way to know for sure is to go to a trustworthy jeweler and ask. Make sure it's in very good condition. :)
  6. Much cheaper than the price you buy. You can sell it online via some forums or second-hands goods platforms.
  7. You should take a look through this site: www.winnergold.com
