Baby clothing and hair accessories company? Have an idea for baby clothing and hair accessories where would i buy thing like jeans and onesies and hair accessories like brushes and combs to put my on design on it?

Do I need any Insurance to sell handmade baby hair accessories? Ive started making baby/toddler hair accessories such as headbands and hairclips and was wondering If I need any Insurance or anything before hand. I was going to sell them via Facebook and maybe Etsy or Ebay and maybe the odd boot fair.. Someone said that if it broke and a baby swallowed the applique then I could be sued! Ive used the best and strongest craft glue that I can find and have tried pulling it off etc and they seem secure enough but knowing my luck something will happen. Convince Baby to Accept Hair Accessories + Hats? ? We badly want to take photos of my niece (11 months and a half) with some hats/bonnets she has recently received as a gift. They’re so beautiful and she looks gorgeous in them. The only problem is, she wouldn’t accept anything on her head (hair) whatsoever. When she was younger, it was so easy… but not anymore. Whenever we put a bow/cap/anything for the hair… she would just furiously remove it. How can we convince a young child to accept hair accessories? Or should we simply just wait till she grows a bit older? It’s our first, so we have no experience ;) The worst part is when it's not for her photo, but for her comfort. We're growing her hair, and the bang area comes in her eyes... she prefers that over having a bow to hold it back. The weird thing is when I put clip on bows while she's not concentrating, they stay on. Once she figures out, off it goes! And yes, I agree with the part that sooner or later, we will be needing it against the sun. We keep her at home now most of the times when the sun is too hard, or we try to cover her up while moving from car to place and vice versa.

All of the barrettes and hair elastics say that they are choking hazards and I am firmly against those hideous garter belt looking headbands made of lace that people put on their babies. What is a good hairstyle for _very_ fine, sparse hair? (literally baby fine)? I have fine hair, so fine that most of the usual solutions don't work. It is baby fine, sparse, slightly wavy, medium brown with no natural highlights. It is very healthy. Anything with multiple parts (like bangs or most braids) exposes large areas of scalp, which looks terrible. If I braid all my hair, the braid is only about 1"x1/2" thick. I do not have enough hair to do layers. Slight undercutting works though. Most short cuts have the exposed scalp problem. It does not do "messy" in a good way. Almost all hair accessories fall out- bobby pins, very small barrettes, and headbands are the only ones that work. Headbands only work when it is very clean. Curls and French twists look good, but take too much work for everyday, especially curls. At the moment, I have a shoulder-length A-line cut, dyed red. I am willing to color, perm, cut, whatever. All I can think of is a perm and/or dyeing it blond to help with the exposed scalp issue, but I still need a cut. Please do _not_ suggest: Layers Bangs Mousse Short haircut Hair sticks Tried them. They don't work.

Toddler hair accessories? I need help finding something to keep my daughters hair out of her face. She is 23 months old with soooo much curly hair. I use those soft hair ties from the dollar store but she pulls those out. I also use the the decrative hair bands that have a ball on each side. She cannot pull those out but it makes her hair fall out the next time I comb it. Do they make head bands that go around the whole head for babies. My daughters head is very small. Need help with looks for PROM! Accessories, shoes, hair, etc.? So prom's not coming for a couple more weeks (my school has a notoriously late prom) but I got my dress and I just really wanted to start the search for the perfect accessories, shoes, and ideas for hair/makeup. DRESS: Okay, so I chose a dress that's a really great combination of edgy and pretty. It's a knee length, baby-doll cut dress, with a sort of baby pink chiffon-like material. But the entire bust and straps are beaded in a black Victorian/Gothic-y design. And the straps start off skinny but sort of get wider as they hit the top of the shoulder. The beaded bust is separated from the rest of the material with a thick black ribbon, and the bottom 2 or 3 inches of the dress are also laced in black beads. SHOES: Since the dress is pretty but edgy, I like the idea of straying from the traditional glam shoe, like wearing a super fierce black bootie. Or maybe like a black oxford bootie/heel? Ideas? I kind of want to play with the harsher side of the dress for the shoes, but I'm totally open to other ideas. HAIR: My hair is a chocolate brown with honeyish sunstreaks. It's really long and layered (à la Miley Cyrus-ish I guess) but I'll probably get a couple inches cut soon, so it'll still be long and layered to just about below my chest. I'm thinking half up half down maybe? ideas? MAKE UP: Skin tone wise, I'm fairly tan and I have brown eyes. Any ideas for make up? Smokey eye maybe? Oops! I forgot to put in a picture! haha. Toddler girl moms: How do you get your daughter(s) to wear their hair "pretties"? My 19 month old loves hair accessories, as long as she doesn't have to keep them in her hair, lol. We're trying to grow out her hair instead of getting it cut, and every time I put a hair tie in her hair, she pulls it out 5 min later and brings it back to me, and says mommy, make pretty gin(again, I think, lol), and makes me put it back in. Help! Parents with Little Girls...? I *hate* those little bows/barrettes/headbands that people buy for newborn and infant girls and I absolutely refuse to put them on my daughter (we're due February 29th with a little girl). More than hating them, I have heard that you should not put them on babies under 2 because they are bad for their head, will pull on their hair sometimes making semi-permanant bald spots, and are potential choking hazards. The problem is that my husband's grandmother will NOT STOP BUYING THEM and insists that she will put them on our daughter whenever she watches her "so that people will know she's a girl". I've tried to find pediatric recommendations against them on Google, but whenever I type it in, it only gives me where to buy them. Does anyone know of a reliable source that is *against* baby hair accessories that I can find online so I can show his grandmother? We already have a little boy, so we have already had to put our foot down a million times with her because she is so bossy! The problem with this is that she *insists* there is nothing wrong with the hair crap and we sometimes get stuck using her as a babysitter since we don't have a lot of family around here....I just *know* that if I don't show her "proof" she'll go behind our backs and do it anyway (like she did when we told her not to cut our son's hair during the summer and we came back and his head was buzzed anyway!!! GRRRRR!!) Carla: First of all, being old doesn't make you wise. Also-my FIL was raised mostly by daycare and the public school system-which she readily admits and is *proud of* (so much for "wisdom and experience"). We don't keep the kids from her, she's just not allowed to make parenting decisions for them-that's not her place. Names for my boutique? Ok, so I'm starting a boutique and I'm making bows, other hair accessories, baby wipes cases, diaper bags, MAYBE baby bibs, pacifier holder and bottle holders, definately tutus, maybe wands and probably flipflops with bows. Is this a good regimen to achieve healthy relaxed hair? 1. I relax my hair every 2 months. 2. I wash it every Saturday followed by a leave-in treatment conditioner. I put a little HollyWood Beauty Olive Oil in my hair before I blow dry on the low setting then use a ceramic flat iron (I only use the iron once a week) then i spray on Olive Oil Sheen Spray for moisture. 3. I don't wear intense hairstyles or hair accessories and if i have to I use a little Jam hair gel. 4. I wrap my hair every night in a satin scarf. 5. Throughout the weekdays the only moisturizers I use are either Pink hair lotion and Olive Oil Hair Sheen spray or HollyWood Beauty Olive Oil. 6. I only use a baby brush and wide tooth comb on my hair.

One-year-old's hair...? Before I had a baby, I used to think that mums who put their daughters hair in bobbles when they were about 1 (and hardly had enough hair to put in a bobble) was silly. & now I really want to put my daughters hair in a bobble. I can put two slides in her hair, but they normally fall out in a couple of hours (if she doesn't pull them out). When did your baby, girl or boy, had his/her first haircut?? My baby girl is almost 6 months old and she has long hair, which keeps on falling to her eyes some times. I wanted to grow them a bit and tie them up in cute accessories. But sometimes i feel should I cut her hair, it would be easy for her to maintain them. What did you mommies do??

Mommies of little girls: What do you do with their hair? My 16 month old baby girl has finally started growing some hair. The problems is that I have no idea what to do with it. I had to cut some bangs in the front because it was down to her nose. Then she got a cold and her hair got stuck in her runny nose. Gross, I know. It seems like she's always getting food in her hair and I'd really like a way to keep it back from her face. The problem is that her hair is so fine that every kind of hair clip I've tried falls. On top of that, it seems like every hair accessory for little girls is age 3+ because of the choking issue. She also likes to grab and pull anything I put on her head. Is there anything I can use to keep her hair out of her face, and hopefully avoid always having to pick sticky food out of it? Any help is appreciated.

What can I collect as a hair accessory? My friend at ballet camp collects little bows for her hair. She usually finds them at baby stores. Is it normal for a seven year old girl to play with? Ok so my seven year old niece does this thing every day, she takes out all her hair accessories (different ones in all the colors you could imagine) and she arranges them in a similar way every day, neatly, and if you ask her what she's doing she will tell you she made a house. She points out every room and every piece of furniture. The people and the babies. She will notice if you move on while she's not looking and will start complaining. This is every day, is this normal?

Where can i find this baby-doll? A few years ago I'm gonna guess and say 5 there was this baby doll. It hand a mop style hair do with soft and silky hair. It came in Caucasian and African American. It cried, made baby noises, blinked her eyes, and it's skin was a very soft some what flexible vinyl, the company came out with one a year later that did all of that drunk water with mixed that came with it and peed. It came with a small pamphlet in the box with accessories and clothes you could bye for it and a bottle a toy and bows. I want another one because I really liked it allot when I had it but me stupid brother cut the vinyl off of her fingers and toes. Accessorise Me! - What sort of accessories would match my style? I wear simple tops, some have a sort of detailed lace-ish thing around the neck. most of them are v-necks. I have quite a few 3/4 length sleeved tops. the colours are usually very natural, I wear a lot of brown, grey and white tops, also have a fair few black tops and a few green ones and baby pink ones. Is it normal for a seven year old girl to play with? Ok so my seven year old niece does this thing every day, she takes out all her hair accessories (different ones in all the colors you could imagine) and she arranges them in a similar way every day, neatly, and if you ask her what she's doing she will tell you she made a house. She points out every room and every piece of furniture. The people and the babies. She will notice if you move on while she's not looking and will start complaining. Pea coats or the normal baby phat jacket? I couldn't decide yesterday whether to get this classic black pea coat or this pink plaid baby phat jacket. How to make a John McCain costume? 1. Clothes- I have an old looking suitcoat and I'll wear some black pants or something. That's not too bad. 2. Face- This has been bothering me for a little while. Any pageant experts out there? First off... If you've got something against pageants, don't even think about responding. I don't want your opinions. Just wanted to get that out of the way seeing as how people like to attack others when the word "pageant" is mentioned! I'm entering my 6 month old daughter in a pageant next month. It's just a small town pageant. None of that fake eyelashes, fake hair, or fake teeth (which would look quite funny on a 6 month old might I add). lol! I was told that I needed to get a bright color so she'll stand out more seeing as how every other baby will be in white or pastel. Also what other accessories do I need? I was planning on putting a black headband with a black bow on and black shoes. Are socks required? I'm new at this whole pageant thing, and I just want to give one a shot. Thanks for any info, tips, advice, etc..!

Oh no Am i a wannabe? D:? I'm blonde, my hair is REALLY light. My eyes are DARK and my lips are kind of big and red, I'm a little pale but i still have color. I do my hair in pigtails or wavy a lot. I don't wear much makeup I just do my eyeliner on the top lid with a little wing at the end. I like dark clothes because they look good on my body (I'm a little curvy and I wanna look smaller!) But I wear corsets and baby doll tops a lot with ballet flats or converse. Then I usually wear colorful accessories. Someone said I look like a GOTH WANNABE?! Just becuz my hair is blond and I wear black and do my makeup like that?! She says you cant be blonde and goth. I don't care really but is it true that i would look like a waanabe i asked that cuz it was sorta related to this and was wondering wut ppl would say Liz R everything you said in your answer contradicted itself lol

This is just for clothes and other fun stuff. My personal stuff :P Will this be good for a Friday-Tuesday trip?
